The Meeting (troy/unicorn)

Sapo stared at the carriage that rode away as his mother and eldest sister went off and away from the Academy. Today was the first day of the first term of the school year. The green haired youth hugged his bags and then walked into the school doors. His long black robes dragged at the ground as he moved and finally into the main hall. His lips pursed as he saw the flood of new first, second and third years swarm into the main auditorium. They were escorted by Hall Monitors and Team Captains for each team the students were divided into.

Today was the day! Today was the day Meredith would start her training and become a powerful witch like those before her. Her parents had sent her off to a school where witches and magical beings went to learn how to become the best they could be. Not being from around the area, she hugged her parents and flew off in a zoom on her broom stick to not be late. It didnt take her long to arrive but the only bad thing was that she was going so fast she couldn't stop! The school was ginormous and very nice but being already unable to top and caught off guard was not a good combination at all. Meredith burst through the doors and yelled as she tried to put the breaks on the broom. "Waatttchh oooutt!" The warning she gave to late as she ran into a couple of students including a student with bright green hair. Her ribbit ribbit hat fell forward as she as not on her brrom but on the student with the green hair.Sitting up she was sitting on his stomach and didnt even realize it. "Omg, im soooo sorrry i was trying not to be late and i couldnt stop and im so soorrryyyy!" Meredith began talking so fast her sentence was all jumbled up. She was a ditz that was for sure.

The very instant he had turned around she was struck by the girl in the broom! He saw stars as he hit the floor and was unable to move he blinked a few times and then looked up. There sitting on his stomach was a young girl possibly, no wait it was a witch! The young tree Sprite slowly rubs his eyes and move the girl off of his stomach. It did not take very long for him to try and apologize to her that one his head and trying his best to make sure she was okay even though she was the one who had to run into him. " I am so sorry! Are you okay?" It was the first thing out of his mouth after he Dustin so far and picked up his bag with his supplies. He then reached out to the girl and grabbed her head. He handed her back her hat and then slowly help her stand to her feet. Sapo saw a few other kids gather around and laugh. This made the green haired boy turn beet red! It was clear the boy was very shy in crowds.

Meredith blinked and nodded letting the green haired boy help her up. Meredith had grinned and stuck out a peace sign letting the kids know she was alright. "your alright, im alright!" A second passed as Meredith looked at her broom, and when she did she saw that it was snapped in half. She frowned but then she got a idea! she reached into her magical bag of goodies and pulled out a cloth to tie the broom together. Suddenly the boy grabbed her head and placed her ribbit ribbit hat back onto her head. Kids of all ages moved to laugh and gather around them.. She made a puzzled look before seeing the boys face turn red. He patted his back and looked up at him giving him a thumbs up. "we are good yea? I am Meredith, and I'm gonna become the greatest witch ever! whats your name?"

"Yes i am ok. Thank you. Oh! Thats cool." The young boy was extremely happy to find out that there was someone his own age here other than some of the first years. He had been a year early in his age and he was very sure of that because this was his second time to this location he felt that there would be a lot to do. The young witch seem to be very happy at her age and so full of energy and life. Even still as she introduced herself and told him she was all right he nodded in agreement he too was okay. He dusted himself off and then look to see that her broom was broken a very deep frown swept across his face. had it been all of his fault that her room had been broken? Now he felt absolutely horrible how could this have happened? What could you do in order to fix the situation? Was there a way that she could fix it perhaps a teacher could help? And that's when he got the bright idea to ask someone. Maybe if they asked a professor they would be able to get help or even get her a brand new Brew to replace the one that was broken now. Even though it really was not his fault that she had crashed into him he still wanted to help her."M,maybe you can get help with your broom?!"

Meredith smiled and got on her tip toes to ruffle the boys bright green hair as if he was the younger child. Meredith could tell that the boy was extra worried about her broom. There was nothing that he would do wrong but he really wasn't seeing it so she took her little arms and wrapped them around the boy shaking him gently and laughing, trying to get him to worry less and laugh more. She let him go after a bit and kept a big smile on her chubby face. She then half listened to what he said and placed a finger into the air matter-of-factly. "i can get someone to fix it!" Meredith walk over to one of the teachers and smiled. "Can you please fix my broom!?"

Sapo was not sure what to do but he watched as the young witch tried her best to make the best of the situation. He nodded and smiled at her. At least she was asking someone and that all in it self was a good thing. At least the two of them had the same idea. Now that Meredith was asking someone maybe her broom could be fixed. His large eyes widen as he watched to see what the professor may do. He was just happy that it might get fixed. Even though it was not his fault he still wanted to see the outcome.
