The Tengu King - Unicorn

The lands of Jinmenju were calm this morning. the village was a nice and sincere area that heavily contrasted against the modern day world. They did not use electricity, the world was completely surrounded in the ways of old. They did everything the traditional way. This was to be closer to the world and remove impurities and modern medicines from their life style.

Here in this village lived a King so to speak. A woman whom had come into power through her families Nobility and hardships. For many years the family of Tengu priests had been fruitful in maintaining their home. There had not been a war since the age of Kagerou. After the Noble family was victorious the lands of Jinmenju and Pale Moon had come into peace.

Inside the Main House of the Tengu, there sat a young woman whom sipped at her tea. She stared out the sliding paper doors to her garden. A large tree over looked the Koi pond that rested against the small structure of the garden gazebo. A man walked into the door way and knelt as he saw the family head sitting there.

"Your Grace, your audience is being requested at the Mall location in the Modern City..."

"Very well. I will go now."

It did not take very long for her to dress. She was clad in a black and stale blue pin stripped suit. Every so often she had to attend meeting that would result in supplies being made. Now she stood in the middle of the food court waiting on the men she was to meet for her meeting. Her gloved hands adjusted her tie as well as her glasses on her face. Two men acted as body guards just in case Mikan needed them or in case something was to go down.

Many people know the tale of Medusa, a once beautiful woman whose hair was her most attractive feature beside her eyes. Well, Ash was a somewhat like that, a descendant if you will. Her eyes were a striking gold when angered and her hair was formed into many braids that represented snakes. However instead of turning people to stone by looking her directly in the eye, they turned into a pile of dust but on command or triggered by her rage. This was a curse that varied in forms and also sometimes skipped generations.

The first time she realized this is when she favored her hair in snake forms, sometimes braids sometimes twists. Ash rarely ever wore her hair out unless for very special occasions. There was a time when Ash was dating this girl in high school, and found out she was cheating and was only with her in order to find out what it was like to date someone that was like her. Her eyes had turned a bright almost glowing gold when she looked her ex dead in the eye and when she sapped out of it she never saw her again, only dust was left behind. Luckily the cops hadn't shown up. Each time this happened she was confused yer intrigued till she went to her mother and that's when she found out who and what she was.

-present day-

A group Friends that were with Ash were looking for a table before some pesky guy reared back and slapped her square on the ass cheek. Her eyes harrowed as she turned slowly and dumped her fresh cup of lemonade onto his head. The guy gapsed and stood up, doing the inevitable and back handing her before calling her a slut. A his came from her lips as she smirked and looked towards the ground. Ash tilted her head and licked the blood that was on her ful bottom lip and looked him in the eye. He wailed out and the last thing he saw was old before disintegrating into dust. Some of the humans began to scream while Ash looked to her friends and kept it moving, people died every day and it was his time...His friends ran away and a girl thanked him who had told her e was known for assaulting people but was a spoiled kid. Ash looked to his friends with her normal coal black eyes and smiled as if nothing happened. "run along now" The other boys scrambled and screamed on how she would play and blah blah blah..."thats why i dont like guys"

Mikan stood still, every so often checking her watch. She was fed up waiting but she assumed her client was late. If her home was not in deep need for supplies she would have scheduled this for another day. But she waited and waited. She was a firm woman of her word and she would not abandon her people so she could relax. That was life, there were things that just needed to be done. Things that deserved priority over her own needs and desires. A few minutes passed and her patience was beginning to wear very thin. She heard the screams and saw people running from the center of the food court. Quirking a well manicured brow she looked at the situation. Some man had been killed....

How very sloppy.

The rights and the UUR fought to keep the super natural beungs safe. And yet this young woman killed this man for pretty much nothing. Mikan shook her head and looked off to the side. Two well dressed old men came towards Mikan and her duo of body guards. Right away she dipped her head in greeting and the two elderly mendid the same. Once the formalities were out of the way they took a seat near the former pile of ashes. The guard cleaned the seat and drew it out for his King and remained silent as business was discussed. Using her middle and index fingers to press up her glasses she took out her gold and maroon pen and signed the contracts after reading them carefully.

"Thank you Vice Chairmen Wong. I will have my men gather the supplies from the air port tonight."

Ash moved to the pile of dust and kneeled down running her fingers through it getting mad at the situation all over again. SHe looked up and saw one of the body guards eyeing her with the same look that the guy from the last encounter gave her. A look of disgust ran through her eyes that now held the same gold as she blew the dust which would have gotten into Mikan's hair. Not liking the way he looked at her she smiled and watched as the bodyguard disenergrated. She was sure the others at the table had witnessed such a thing but it was not like she cared, it seemed like all men were the same. "Men...I swear..." Ash looked to speak to the people. "I'll pay for another body guard, for you.." Ash had not knew that this was a business meeting and frankly at this point with the day she was seeming to have, she truly did not give a damn.

The King looked up from her cup of Coffee and then frowned ever so slightly. She saw as this woman had killed one of her men. And even though she had done so because she had her own reasons this did not bring back her guard nor would it fix the loss of the family she had to report this too.

Mikan stood from her seat and then pushed her chair in. She walked over to Ash and saw the damage she had done. The look of the frown had now faded as her stern gaze turned to the dark skinned woman. Her lips pursed into a thin line.  A spark emitted from her while she stood there a small seal formed at her feet as the wind within the building had come from her. Anger slowly crept on to her face. Her eyes shine like polished jewels and then she shut them, calming her self.

"Your actions were not jest. You acted far too hasty. And for that you must take responsibility. Come with us. This meeting is over Mr. Wong."

She said this as she slipped her right gloved hand into her pocket and then turned to look in the direction of the two very scared men. She then looked back at Ash and then turned and walked out from the Mall. She expected Ash to follow or she would drag her out by her hair.  But it did not seem that this girl was going to give her a headache at the moment so it was all  very tolerable.

Ash looked at Mikan and tilted her head to the side. She did not seem to be bothered at what she had done. Her eyes, however, had widened at the fact that she was about to do something as she felt the wind whip around. She crossed her arms and watched the woman's face contort into anger, before regaining its standstill look. Ash kept her eyes on the woman as she had began to speak. Ash sighed and moved to rub the back of her hair. It seemed like she was in trouble and something about this woman somewhat scared her a little but she would never admit that to her.

"o,ok..."

Ash moved to look her in her eyes and frown slightly before she snuck a glance at the man she spoke to briefly before following behind her. She watched as people around the food court had either been talking and laughing or gossiping about the incident had taken place. A hand had absentmindedly moved to play with a braid as she looked forward. Once they all were outside the mall, Ash noticed a limp waiting outside the entrance of the mall. The bodyguard that she noticed was keeping her distance opened the door for the both of them. But before she was able to get in the car after the woman, the bodyguard placed her up against the him and felt her up and gave a node of approval to the woman who seemed unhappy as a whole. If it was not for the fact she was already in trouble she would have done the second bodyguard in for putting his hands on her.

Ash moved inside of limo and took a seat, from the inside it did not seem so big, but it was actually quite huge inside. Ash did not sit to close to her and kept her hands in her lap while she adverted her gave from the serous woman. She did not even speak as she did not know what to say.

As the two women Road in a limousine they had come to clean and crisp air at a far distance away from the city. Out into the countryside is where the limousine had ventured forth and out away from the city made everything much more silent. The ride for the most part had been pretty much silent, there was not anything that the woman had to say to Ash. What's the one and only bodyguard that had been left alive he stayed with his Master and King of his kingdom. He was not easily swayed by what had happened at the food court with in the mall earlier. Even though his comrade had to been killed right before his eyes his main priority was protecting the king.

The guard was still uncertain of how the man had been killed and what triggered it. But he was sure it had something to do with Ash face or maybe her eyes. Because of this he cast his eyes downward and looked out the window to avoid eye contact with her. Just to be on the safe side. He did however sit between the king and Ash just to make sure. It was very clear that Ash was going to have a very hard time getting these people to trust her if at all.

The limousine finally came to a halt before a very large and lengthy looking Asian style Castle. The outside appear to be very well maintained and servants were scattered around as if sprinkled seasonings. Mikan was allowed to exit out of the limousine first. The door was opened for her by her bodyguard and she exited first. Then they left the door open for Ash to exit 2nd. The two women were escorted inside the castle, there were then led into a very large room where Ash could take a seat and sit down. Mikan moved to gesture for her to have a seat, waving her off as if Ash were a pesky fly.

"Please do take a seat right now. And a moment I will return I need to change my clothing. And then we can go and apologize to the family. The man that you have now killed is dearly departed from us and you will need to apologize to family first. I will have no one working for me that does not show respect to my people. Do I make myself clear?"

Mikan turned to Ash, looking at her in her eyes. No sign of fear as she locked eyes with her. Her gaze was as cold as a glacier in the middle of the Artic. She held not one ounce of remorse for this young woman. The action she had taken was extremely rash and for her she had lost a very good bodyguard and friend. However this woman was going to work off her debt that she had made and she was going to do so with Blood Sweat and Tears. Mikan then left to redress herself. Leaving Ash to think about what she had done.

ASh watched as the bodyguard moved to sit between her and the other woman she scooted bit to the other side not wanting to be any closer then she already was. She turned her gaze out the window to look out and noticed that they were heading into the country side. Ash had never really been out of the city like that, so seeing how much land was truly out there made her smile a bit. When the car stopped she leaned more into the window and her eyes widened,but when she stepped out the car she smiled and gasped slightly.

The place they had arrived to was huge and Asian style and from the looks of it very well maintained. She had never seem something so magnificent. Not only that here were plenty of servants all around tending to different things. Ash looked back at the other woman and quirked a plucked brow. Who the hell was she and how did she become to live in this lavish lifestyle. Ash followed suit as she was escorted into the castle by the woman and her bodyguard. When they were inside the castle her head whipped left and right as she looked around. Everything was so clean and kept. You could eat off the floor and not gain a ounce of sickness. They entered a room and ash was to to take a seat which she was going to do anyway.

Ash looked to the woman who had started talking, she slightly leaned to the side and crossed her long shapely legs and rested her arms on her thighs listening to what she had to say. Apologize to his family? She had never apologized to a family before, her words to Ash made her feel remorseful but what was done was done. She let out a breath through her full lips and looked her into her eyes through long natural lashes and nodded slowly. "I...um understand...I'll do it.."

Ash looked from the bodyguard and back to the woman as she once again went silent. She could tell from the look on her fave that she was not playing around at all. And judging by what happened with her at the food court, she knew that she was not human and was quite powerful as well. They were silent, each other a serous look on their faces and in her eyes she could feel no warmth, just icy cold winter. She couldn't be mad at her though. She had killed one of her men without even thinking about it. But then something clicked into her head. One if her people? What did that mean.

Ash twisted the side of her mouth slightly a confused look flashed through her eyes and she spoke one more to the cold woman that stood before her. "what do you mean your people and work for you? Who even are you to demand something like that, no offense...." Ash looked Mikan over from head to toe and slowly back to her face, which she would admit was actually attractive, but she could feel the iciness radiating off hr like a reversed heater. Ash was curious though in who she was...

Mikan walked into her room and then slowly removed her suit jacket and sighed out. Running her hands through her hair while she moved to then unbutton her top. She took off her gloves and then tossed them into the wicker basket she had. Tattoos that showed the story of the war of Kagerou was etched into her skin. Down her well toned arms and then over her sculpted abs she had. Even though her bust was small- she still had a bit of curve of her athletic form. She had spent years on her body to make it figured perfectly for combat as well to show that even though she was young as the King of the tengu- she still had more than enough power to prove she was stronger than most around her. As the shirt hit the floor she then took off her pants and everything else. The rounded half globes of her ass showed in the sun light that poured in from the outside through the windows. Moving to her walk in closet she then grabbed a simple summer yukata. The pattern was a small dark blood red petals on a ombre faded deep right amethyst to a washed out plum light purple.

Mikan moved to slip each arm into the sleeves and then moved to tie the sash. She then slipped her feet into a pair of geta sandals. walking back to the main lobby where Ash was sitting there. She raised a brow as she heard what she had asked. Mikan took off her glasses and then took in a subtle breath. "My people are the Tengu. I am King of them. I govern over the lands of Jinmenju. This is our land and home. We live in a more or less not modernized fashion. This is what I mean by MY people."  She did not mind telling her anything but she assumed she just had no idea whom she was or where she was. "Your ignorance is rather cute. You are in the presence of a true King. My brilliance is utmost supreme here."  She said. She had always thought highly of her self. And this showed even more so when she spoke to someone that she had never met before.

Wandering across the distance between her and Ash- she moved to reach out her strong and long fingers. She then gripped the girl by her dark skinned chin. She looked her in her eyes and now that she was closer to her she could get a better and much closer look at her. She could see the features of her face now. Mikan looked over the females dark chocolate features and then let go of her chin she had in her hard claw like grasp. As if the girl was some kind of small rodent she had released her and then folded her arms. The girl was very young, that much was evident by her actions and her style of dress. This girl was not Human what so ever. But what she was did indeed spark her interest and did not bore her in the least.

It was very rare for Mikan to touch anyone she did not know, and even more rare so having touched a woman whom had just not so long ago killed one of her subordinate. The man had even been her friend. As she stood there before the woman a few of the servants began to whisper and point and looked amazed. Mikan had an entire harem and yet she never once touched anyone there. She had no interest in it. Her last relationship had been a Princess from a neighboring Tengu clan and it had not worked out. Mikan had a horrible temper and then young girl could not handle it and so she had run off after their engagement party. After that situation had passed she had become even colder than what she had been before hand.

"Have a seat. We have a bit of time before we go and speak to the family. Tell me, what are you girl? I notice you are not a normal being by far. What exactly are you?"

Mikan moved away from Ash and turned her back to her. She then moved to a large backed white and cream Victorian crafted chair. Sitting down she crossed her legs and then placed her hands into her lap. She then curled her finger at Ash for her to take a seat on the floor next to her chair. Mikan wanted her to sit on the floor near her. Her eyes were not the best and she wanted her near her so if she spoke out of turn she could slap her. And also if she was better looking up close. From a far she looked like a blur of colors. And if she was closer she could also see if the girl was bold enough to cut her eyes at her. She was not going to go for that. but for the moment she wanted to see if she listened to orders given to her by her new superior.

A servant walked over to them and held out a tray with a set of sake cups. There was even a bottle that held the rice liquor. The girl bowed her head low and she glared at Ash before she then offered the drink to Mikan and then the second cup to Ash. "Please enjoy. it was chilled from the streams near the garden my King. And you as well new guest. Taste Jinmenju's finest!" She was proud of the drinks, even though she wanted to make sure that Ash had not come to try and distract Mikan from liking the other women here.

Ash looked up at her when she reentered the room. The way she was dressed was definitely not something she had seem before. Ash blank and watched as the woman closed in on her and looked her in the eyes after she removed her glasses. The words that came out of her mouth registered into her head swiftly. Now it was all starting to make sense. She was a king? But how she did not look that old and seemed not to be betrothed or anything like that. Ash did not even know that there was still such things as kings and queens. But here she was, sitting in the presence of a young king. She had not even heard of a tengu, it made her quite curious as to what type of creature she was though.

Ash stiffened when she the other woman grabbed a hold of her chin and examined her face, this gave her a chance to examine this person who seemed to so much power for such a young person. Now that they were face to each other Ash looked the king of tengu in their eyes. She had very blue eyes that had some emotion but she could tell that the king had placed up a wall.But something about these eyes were familiar and she could not put her finger on it. They were lovely nonetheless, and contrasted to her own coal black eyes that had no pupil. Once the king had released her chin from her grasp she moved to raise a hand up and rub her chin softly before relaxing once more.

Ash gave the king her full undivided attention when she had began to speak once more. She had asked what she was and there was no hiding it seeing as though she had killed two people in the same day. Ash gave some thought to her answer as she did not know exactly what type of creature she was, but she did know where she came from. "well, I am not sure really, I do know, however that I am descendant, of Medusa, thus my hair is in braids, that I actually have taken a like to. As for my eyes, they are black now but they turn gold when I am pissed off or upset and meaning to kill. The difference is, that instead of my victims turning into stone and reviving at some point they just turn to ash and blow away in the wind. Its a complicated power I guess..." Ash continued to watch the king before her, as she moved to a chair and had beckoned her over. Ash rose from her seat and moved to sit beside the woman she had tugged her skirt down some and moved her legs to the side so that her skirt would not ride up her long brown legs. Her top was short sleeved and form fitting hugging her d-cup breast that were not bound down by a bra.

A servant had tome to them and offered drinks, she smiled at the girl and caught the glare that as shot her way. She did not know why she was given such a look. A soft shrug left her as she sipped the drink from the cup. A warm sensation traveled down her throat and through her body. She watched as the servant as she boasted about the drink. She had never tasted anything like it, even though Ash was not a drinker, she could dive into this, it was delicious and calming if that made any sense.

Mikan looked at the young female, her blue sharp eyes locked Ash as she moved. After the young woman sat down it was then she was able to get a good look at her. Mikan allowed her eyes to roll down the girls body this time. Drinking in each of her curves and along those long willow-like cocoa brown legs. Here in Jinmenju women were not made up like Ash. They did not have such large features and assets. She was very different in looks, the Tengu were very open minded and things like Species, skin tone and religious differances bothered them not. Mikan smiled as she looked Ash's hips. They were shapely and wide, good for birthing. If nothing else Ash could be thrown to her Soldiers as a gift if Ash ever betrayed her trust.

A small hum emitted from Mikan as she noted that Ash was being very obideant. In fact the girl had come and sat down easily enough. She even showed modesty, tugging her skirt down to conceal herself. Yes, this female was surely unique. Perhaps she was not as dimwitted as she had first presumed her to be? Ash so far seemed different. She was clean with her looks and body. She just seemed to be on the offense at a mere hair trigger. As if guarding herself from the world instead of dealing with things- it seemed she eliminated her issues before solving them verbally. Typical young people mistakes.

Sitting back she listened to Ash speaking. Using her right tattooed covered hand she took the sake cup and drank. Her eyes perked open wider with interests as she heard what species Ash was. Quickly, Mikan waved off the maid like she was lint on a freshly ironed suit. She saw the maid as an eye sore and her babbling was obscuring what she was hearing from Ash. This pissed the maid off but she gripped her tray tighter then left stomping away after she had put the bottle down for her King and her guest. It was already starting as other servants lingered around dusting things or wiping down the exact same spot on a counter just to be nosey. Many of the women and z few men were all listening to what Ash was saying. It was apparent Ash was going to have her handsful as many of the hired help were already cutting their eyes at her. Mikan seemed to not notice all of that. She was wrapped up in what Ash was saying to even care her servants were being petty.

"Hm, I judged you wrong Snake Girl... It seems you are of that race. It intrigues me greatly. I have never seen or heard of such a thing..."

And like a child beimg shown a new toy, Mikan dragged her long claws through Ash's braids. Her fingers traveled deep down into the smoothed and oiled healthy hair. Allowing her claws to rack briskly against the girls scalp lightly. This was done as if she assumed her own touch would awaken the snake braids and come to life. Mikan wax curious even more still as she let her strong grasp in Ash's hair fade away when she took her tattooed hand awzy from her scalp. The king then rubbed her own chin in thought.

"I suppose this skill can be extremely useful to us... How well can you control this birthright given ability?"

Now the gears in Mikan's head were turning on how to utilize this new found gem of an ability.

Ash kept her eyes on Mikan as she moved to take her spot beside her. She noticed that the Tengu King watching her every move. It made her low key blush. Ash had also noticed that Mikan seemed interested in what species she was, which still did not have a name but it was not that important at the moment. Ash looked at Mikan while she waved off the maid that seemed pissed off to be dismissed in such a matter. Were they jealous or something? COme to think of it she looked around briefly and noticed many of the help were giving her the eye. She just brushed them off. Ash laughed as she listened to the name Mikan had given her...Snake girl is what she said. Ash didnt know how exactly what to say but it made her laugh and smile.

"Maybe so, I haven't heard of tengu either, so I can say I'm intrigued with you as well" When Mikan made contact with her braids, Ash froze for a moment and when she felt her hands move to her scalp Ash let out a small moan and leaned into her touch. Her braids moved and caressed Mikan's tattooed hand. Her eyes were half lid and flashed a warm gold. The moment was short lived when she moved her hand away. Her hair was sensitive and it was something she did not play about. Ash calmed herself and moved to look at the woman before her. A relaxed feeling washing over her lovely face. Ash had given a thought to her question to her question before she responded.

"for the most part I can control it. Anger usually triggers it though. I don't even know why they mad me as they did earlier, but I am somewhat remorseful about your bodyguard. What can I do for you....um.." Ash crossed her arms and in doing so her well-endowed breast were perked up from the position. Come to think of it they had never exchanged names. She looked to Mikan and saw a hair was cutely sticking up while she spoke. Ash moved her hand to smooth her hair into place, with a feather-like touch "I never got you name King? What should I call, you, my name's Ash"

Mikan moved to sit back a bit, looking at the strand of the braid that had perked up to her touch. She reached out a hand and pet the braid as if it were a real snake. To her she had to resist the urge to want to peck at the braid and rip it in two and eat it. Snakes, rodents and other small animal or reptile life were main food sources for the Tengu people. They were a twisted folklore combination of Dog Birds. Priests that protected the spirits that passed through the after life. but more recently they were beings that were to protect the Humans.

"My name is Mikan. We do not carry last names. Just clan names. I have not chosen one yet as I have yet to fulfill my duties first."

Moving her hand away from the hair she sat there and sipped her drink again. She listened to what Ash was saying to see her so soon show remorse for what had happened she had a hard time believing. It would be a long time before she was to gain Mikan's trust at all. For now she considered her self accepting her as is. Ash was still very young in her eyes and she wanted to learn a bt more about her before she saw if she could be even more usefuil to them.

"We will see the family soon. Or I can call for them here. Hmmm... That may be a better idea. To summon them here. MAID! Go and fetch Ganymede family. Tell them I want an audience at once."

The young girl bowed low to Mikan and then scurried off to gather the family as asked of her. She and one other young girl shot Ash a final glare as they left the main house and wandered off into the village. It was not every day that Mikan wanted to see anyone and surely never an entire family. This was news to some of the hired help as they moved and whispered to one another. Gossip already starting when the two young maids came back with a small child and a teen aged girl with a very round pregnant belly. The two of them looked very confused but bowed as best they could as Mikan stood up and gestured for Ash to do the same.

"Kaede, where is big brother Gany?"

"Shh, Tobi. Let's see what the issue is first. He will cook for us when he gets home okay!? he will make your favorite."

The little boy tengu cheered as they looked from Mikan to Ash, they were not sure what was going on. But Mikan frowned as she moved to take off her glasses and then turned to look at Ash now.

"Well, this is your cue. tell them where their elder brother is... Ash."

Ash looked at the pregnant teen and the small child that stood before her and Mikan. She frowned at them and her eyes narrowed into snake like slits as she looked at Mikan. Anger simmered in Ash eyes she stared at Mikan. But it died down when she realized that she was the only to blame for this. She had killed a man, a family man and it was time to pay and come to terms with what she had done. Ash rose to her feet and stood before the young girl who was ripe with a child and another small boy. She sighed and looked down at them grief heavy in her eyes. "You have been brought hereby King Mikan, because I.....I have done something terrible. At the time I wasn't thinking and I let the anger out and so, I guess what I am trying to say, is that I-I-I killed your brother and for that I am ready topay the consequences...."

Ash looked down as she could not look into the eyes of the family who she just destroyed. Perhaps this was the consequence for being such a hot head with a bad temper. Without even realizing it Ash leaned up and swiped at her face and saw a tear. Wow. She never really cried so why now? Perhaps it was the look in the children's eyes...Ask turned and moved back over to Mikan her head low as she tucked a black braid behind her hear. "I am ready for what you will have me do..."

The brother and sister did exactly as expected, crying and both were loss. Mikan watched as the two of them looked absolutely hopeless. Mikan stood there and she as King had to be just. Her desicion was very clear and what she decided had to be fair in the utter most. Mikn moved to fold her arms, her toned arms flexed as she moved her hand to lift Ash's head roughly. Making her look at the now torn family.

"In your days in which you work for me. You shall be paid. But half of your earnings will go to this family. Medicine, clothing and leisure priviliages will be your responsobility. This is now your new family. Treat them as your own brother and sister. "

A few of the hired help gasped at such a strong command of the king. But Ash could supply them with security but never replace the brother she had taken away. Mikan put her hand down and waved over a servant.

"Prepare a room for these poor souls. They will move in the East wing of this Castle. "

"Yes my King!"

Right away the servant took the weeping siblings to their new room. Mikan turned back to Ash and her gaze became as cold as a desert night. Her tone echoed with stern principles as she said-.

"Your worth to me is low as the dirt upon the soles of your own feet. You will start from the lowest degree and earn your worth to me. Come, we have much to discuss..."

She looked away from Ash as she headed down the west side of the Castle. Servants glaring at Ash, whispering and laughing all the way.

Ash looked to the family whom she destroyed as King MIkan lifted her chin and made her witness the suffering she had caused. This was just another lesson that she needed to be taught about her temper. Ash let out a sigh and looked form the pregnant teen to the small child. She was truly at a loss for words and all she could do was remain silent and listen to their cries. Suddenly her new found King had began to speak. This time around her the was not warm nor inviting it was glacier cold and strict. Nodding to the demands, Ash did have a heart and would do just as she commanded. She would work hard and even harder everyday to support the siblings she had hurt. Perhaps one day they would forgive her, but if they didn't she would understand.

Ash dropped her head some when Mikan released her from her strong grasp. A frown and nod came about when her King spoke lowly of and two her. She could not blame her though, what she did was unforgivable. Ash spoke out a soft "yes my King" to Mikan standing behind her as she had turned away and began walking. As if walking the walk of shame, Ash looked slightly both ways to see servants giving all sorts of evil looks, some laughed some whispered. Either way, she would rise above the petty servants and ind a way to gain Mikan's trust.

Mikan walked through her home and then to her partically indoor garden. She sat on the cushion and then gestured for Ash to do the same. She poured herself another sake cup full. Her blue eyes seemed to glow in the semi dim lighting. She stared at Ash and then moved to sip her drink and then put the sake cup down. She then poured more and then held the sake cup out to Ash. She gave her a look as if she needed to drink it.

"Drink."

She said while she moved to then sat back. Her eyes looked at the woman and then to her form. It seemed Ash was finally understanding what everything she had done had caused her. Now she had a new responsibility and this was her fate. but she had shown great feats of maturity and accepted it well.

"Things will not be as hard as you may assume. The family is just in pain now. And this will help ease your mind."

When they entered the garden, Ash's coal black eyes looked up and she looked around and let out a small smile. Her Kings garden was beautiful. She saw that Mikan had taken a seat and gestured for Ash to do the same. Ash moved to take a seat beside her and took the cup of sake that Mikan had poured for her. Ash nodded and spoke a thank you, before taking a few gulps and sighing softly.

Ash looked into the lovely blue eyes of her King. She nodded to the words that King Mikan was speaking. "Yes, my king, you may be right, but i do have to take responsibility, so Ill start here". Ash tilted her head and stared at her King. For someone that was so strict, they didn't seem like it. They were actually very attractive, but she shrugged and turned to look at some of the flowers taking another couple of sips and thinking. "So what am I going to be doing exactly, m king..?"

"As of right now you are to enjoy a few drinks for me and unwind."

She said. Her lips pursed and she moved to take the same sake cup and then moved to drink form it as well. Her eyes lid and then shut as she looked at Ash admiring the flowers. She saw that even though her eyes were hellish and coal black, they held a high fondness for nature in them. That in it self made the King smile some. A true and real smile. Her hands not poured more of the drink and she then sipped more of it and then passed it to Ash.

"Tell me, how is the modern world where you came from? You said you were not sure what to call yourself? I suppose saying Snake girl is not the best idea now is it?"

She thought on that idea for a time and she was sure that was not the kind of thing the girl wanted to be called all the time. She now had a slight red hue in her cheeks as she placed a hand on Ash's knee. She however did not take it further, just enjoying the warmth of a real woman beside her.

"Did you ever marry where you lived before?"

"I can definitely do that." Ash looked back to the kind to see her pour of the sake into the cup. Watching her quietly she bit her full bottom lip before taking the cup and drinking the adult beverage in her hand. She had not even realized that it was starting to affect her, as her eyes were now half lid and a smile spread over her full lips. The King's smile was one of the first she had seen and Ash got the feeling that is was genuine. It gave Ash a slight blush to her cheeks. Its alright, the modern world is very busy and there is always something going on..As you can see, I don't like much like other women so men are constantly trying to talk to me and sometimes it really angers me....I don't even like men..As far as the name goes, you can just call me Ash..or whatever suits your desires.."

Ash moved slightly and leaned somewhat into her touch to her knee. It was weirldy relaxing being with the King and talking. SHe shook her head no and pondered for a moment. Now that she thought about it, she never really had a true love or bond as strong as that with anyone.."No, Ive been a loner for quite some time..How about you my king?"

"I was... to wed once.... But things had not gone as arranged. My anger unnerved her. She ran away after the engagement party."

Mikan took a large gulp of the rice wine. Her eyes lid and shut. Just remembering everything made her very sad. She had tried her best to remain with dignity. But it had not worked. After a while she had even looked for the female. But she was hidden and refused to be found. Mikan gave up after a time and never searched for her again.

"I see, you are very lucky. Love is a waste of an emotion. Those whom feel it are weak minded. They lack discipline. I have put away such fairy tales as I matured."

She had then moved to pat Ash's thigh and moved her hand. Mikan had lived a long life but it seemed to have been in vain. She had no true family or children. Just her next of Kin that were not blood related. And those who claimed her family name but knew very little about her. Mikan just grabbed the bottle and poured more. This time she drank down two more cups of her own.

"I desires the touches of a Woman in my bed.... But there are none worth enough to touch me."

Ash watched and listened to Mikan speak about her past. It made her frown when she spoke about her past engagement. SHe had never been in love like that and to be left, she couldn't even imagine the pain that Mikan must have gone through. It was however starting to make since on why Mikan acted the way she did and what not. When she thought of the word love, she thought of something that she had tried to maintain, but could never achieve because of her temper and jealousy issues...

"Yeah, you are right in that sense as well. From the stories of Medusa, is seems that love is for the weak, and I. am not weak.."

She sighed and relaxed while gently taking the bottle from her Kinds hands and pouring herself a few more cups. SHe was feeling it heavy. Her almond shaped coal black eyes narrowed a bit as she watched the king behind thick long lashes. Ash could tell the MIkan had wanted a woman she thought back to the catty glares the servants gave her and spotted a maid tending to the garden, shooting glares at her back. Ash was to tore up to give a damn at his point. Her well-endowed breast rose and fell softly as she gave soft breaths. Her head tilted to the King's latest words.

"I bet all the ladies here would like a piece of you, I do not blame them though, you are quite a lovely creature to look like. I like woman as well, Im sure you know. It's been a little time since I've been with one intimately though most are afraid of me because of the powers I possess"

The king looked at her with a bit of understanding in her eyes. It had also been a very long time for herself. She knew and understood that many people had a desire to want to be with her. There were many men and women within her clan who wanted her. As a king there was very very much Temptation in the world. It made it very hard for her to understand many different things and to tell whether people's emotions toward her were genuine or not. Although these emotions perplexed her she still had a very level-headed mind and strong spirit on her shoulders.

" I see, so does that mean that you two are attracted to me?"

The King was no fool. Already knowing that Ash had a deep attraction to them. However, the King was not sure if it was their title they were admiring or just their physical appearance. They had not known one another long enough to want anything more than possible physical attention. But then again with young people these days mainly the attraction was physical. It was no secret that the King has will also had attractions to others but they never acted upon any of them.

Mikan laced their fingers together as she grabbed her palm. Holding Ash's hand in her own she stared down at their fingers and the color contrast between their skin tones , and the sizes of their fingers. Even though the king also was a woman her hands were much larger than Ash. She also seem to have more veins along the back of her palm that showed that her hands were a bit rougher. And a few callous here and there or upon her palm, as well showing that she used a weapon often.

"I think you know I'm attracted to uou, but King or not I am not going to jump your bones like some hoe. I like to let things happen naturally."

Ash studied Mikan's actions with somewhat of a smirk on her full lips. It was true though, Ash did have a strong physical attraction to this woman, especially since she was dominant and my look the of it strong as well. She was no dummie though, Ash would not jut try and have sex with her or make any unnecessary advances towards her. SHe was respectable and not vulgar what so ever. Ash scanned her form taking in every detail of the king, although she was a woman, she was wel toned, SHe could somewhat tell her breast were smaller then her own. SHe was taller then Ash and also had tattoos. They were lovely. In mid stude she watched MIkan move and take a hold of her hand.

Ash watched and studied their hands together, her own hand contrasted greatly to MIkan's. SOmething about different skin tones was exotic and sensual, almost seductive in a way. It made her blush and smile though she shook it away when MIkan wasn't paying attention. Ash could feel the strength in MIkan's hands were rough and had a good drip t them. SHe could tell that MIkan was no lightweight and knew how to carry herself as a King. Looking back to MIkan's face she smirked, thinking back to her last statement.

"Just like I know, you are attracted to me, only thing is I don't know how much, but it is probably enough since you are drinking with me and touching me, not that I mind..your interesting King"

The king looked at Ash and at every movement with in her eyes. Every breath that they took, she slowly stared into her eyes even more so. Holding her hand she was not quite sure what to say at that moment everything seem to be unique to her. The king did not deny her attraction to Ash. Nor did she say anything or act on it. It was not like her to say anything about something that was so trivial to someone she barely knew. Yes the attraction was there, however at the same time she was not sure what she wanted to do and how she wanted to see it.

Usually when she cared about someone she would send them flowers or greet them or try and take them someplace. But right now she knew it was the alcohol talking and that was not the type of attraction she truly wanted. She needed to give it time and right now her brain only told her she wanted the physical.

"Yes, however I know better. Even intoxicated I would not touch you. I am a Woman of high degree. I have dignity to uphold."
